Eyeglass chains are my favorite summer and holiday accessory. This accessory is charming and highly functional as a "glasses holder."
Liana - a chain of glasses made of natural freshwater pearls, is an irreplaceable accessory for summer. This luxurious eyeglass chain has a classic style and is designed only with freshwater pearls, so Liana is a pure respite of pearls without added details. Although the abundance of pearls is noticeable here, their delicate size ensures the comfort and lightness of the chain for everyday wear.

For me, as the creators of this accessory, it is a perfectly complementing adornment when you don't want to burden your body with other jewelry, for example, enjoying the beach. Liana creates an elegant image while being a practical accessory. An eyeglass chain is helpful if you only have a small purse that won't fit a glasses case. Also, the chain is a reliable helper on summer evenings when glasses are no longer needed, but we don't have a case for glasses with us - just drop the glasses freely on your chest, and you can rest assured that they are safely and stylishly hanging under your heart.

Choosing the right jewellery size helps a piece sit beautifully, feel comfortable and work with your wardrobe. This guide explains simple ways to measure necklace, bracelet and ring sizes at home before ordering Gintaute Val jewellery.
How to choose a necklace length
Measure a necklace you already enjoy wearing from one end of the clasp to the other. If you do not have one, place a soft measuring tape or a piece of string around your neck, mark the preferred position and measure the string with a ruler. Shorter necklaces usually sit near the base of the neck, while longer designs fall below the collarbone. Consider the size of the pendant, the neckline of your clothes and whether you plan to wear the piece alone or layer it with other chains.
How to measure your bracelet size
Measure your wrist where you normally wear a bracelet. The tape should sit close to the skin without feeling tight. Add approximately 1–1.5 cm for a comfortable fit or 1.5–2 cm if you prefer a looser bracelet. Designs made with larger pearls may need a little more room because the beads take up extra space around the wrist.
How to find your ring size
The most reliable home method is to measure a ring that already fits well. Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter in millimetres across the widest point, without including the metal edges. Finger size can change slightly during the day, so measure at room temperature and avoid measuring immediately after exercise or exposure to cold weather.
What if you are between two sizes?
Choose the larger size, especially for a wider piece or if you prefer a relaxed fit. You can contact us before ordering and share your measurements together with a link to the jewellery you are considering. We will help you choose the most suitable length or size. Because many Gintaute Val pieces are handmade, a custom length may sometimes be possible when arranged before the order is placed.
