Rental Terms

Rental Period

Standard rental periods are 4, 7, or 10 calendar days (from the day the jewelry is collected until the day it is returned or shipped back).

Return Conditions

  • The jewelry must be returned within the agreed rental period.
  • The item must be returned:
    • clean and free of visible damage;
    • in-store or via parcel locker (a return shipping label is included with the shipment).
  • Additional rental day: €10 per day.

Security Deposit

  • The security deposit is 100% of the jewelry’s retail value.
  • The deposit is paid at the time of placing the rental order.
  • If the jewelry is returned on time and in proper condition (in accordance with the rental terms), the deposit is refunded in full.
  • If the jewelry is damaged, lost, or not returned, the deposit (or part of it) may be used to cover compensation, in accordance with the “Damage and Liability” section.

Important:
The security deposit is a separate payment from the rental fee.
The rental fee is non-refundable and is not deducted from the deposit.

Damage and Liability

1. Minor damage (repairable)

Examples include:

  • The jewelry breaks, but all parts are returned;
  • The jewelry is stretched or misshapen;
  • The jewelry is heavily soiled.

Repair fee:
€30–€40, depending on the scope of the required work.

2. Significant damage (visible damage)

Examples include:

  • Broken jewelry with missing parts or materials;
  • Scratched metal elements and/or pearls;
  • Significant loss of aesthetic value.

Compensation:
50%–100% of the jewelry’s value, depending on the extent of the damage.

The rental fee is not deducted from the compensation amount.

Failure to Return the Jewelry

If the jewelry is:

  • Not returned;
  • Abandoned;
  • Lost or stolen,

a 100% compensation of the jewelry’s retail value will be applied.

Important:
The jewelry is considered not returned if 10 days have passed after the end of the rental period and the item has not been returned.

Jewelry Care Guidelines

Rented jewelry must be handled with care and:

  • Must not be worn while sleeping;
  • Must not be worn during sports or physical activities;
  • Contact with the following must be avoided:
    • perfumes and fragrances;
    • hairspray;
    • cosmetics;
    • water.
